1. MoUs and Agreements Signed:
- Ayurveda and Traditional Medicine:
An MoU was signed between India and Angola to foster cooperation in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine, paving the way for knowledge sharing and joint initiatives in health. - Agriculture Cooperation:
Both countries formalized their partnership in agriculture, aiming to enhance food security, research collaboration, and best practices in farming. - Cultural Exchange Program (2025–2029):
A cooperation program was signed to deepen cultural ties over the next five years, promoting mutual understanding through arts, heritage, and people-to-people exchanges.
2. Angola Joins the International Solar Alliance (ISA):
Angola became the 123rd member of the ISA by signing the Framework Agreement, underlining its commitment to renewable energy and sustainable growth.
3. $200 Million Defence Credit Line:
India approved Angola’s request for a $200 million Line of Credit to support defence procurement. This move will help Angola modernize its armed forces and expand bilateral defence ties.
